VelnonArt is a new agency that is federally funded and provides addiction/harm reduction services anywhere in Los Angeles County. Their mission is to provide people with overdose reversal supplies and bring awareness of drug use and safer alternatives. They provide narcan, clean kits for drug use, fentanyl test strips, etc. They are also able to get people medication prescribed to help treat narcotic dependance.

Harm Reduction Los Angeles or HRLA, is an organization set on creating projects that will assist individuals who are struggling with drug addiction and harm reduction. They understand that current US drug policies have anti-immigrant origins and is selectively enforced to harm those within minority communities. With this foundational understanding, they create projects and support teams that are different as they look and provide medical care and harm reduction services that are trauma-informed, human rights informed, and whole person centered. They offer clinical service teams to provide evaluations as well as medical information. Bienestar is an organization whose mission is to assist those with addiction issues and harm reduction by providing resources and tools for success.Their in office services are fully confidential and discreet; and also offer mobile outreach services. Bienestar programs are set on reducing HIV & Hepatitis C numbers by providing a safe syringe service program. They also provide information and resources pertaining to Fentanyl, substance misuse, abscess and wound care services as well as mental health counseling.

  Syringe services programs are community prevention programs that provide a range of services that prevent spread of disease and protect communities. Syringe services programs (SSPs) are community-based prevention programs that provide a range of services. SSPs protect the public and first responders by providing safe disposal of used needles and syringes. SSPs also prevent outbreaks of other diseases by providing: Testing/Counseling/Sterile injection supplies

Most SSPs offer referrals to medication-assisted treatment. SSPs partner with local law enforcement and provide them with naloxone. This helps local police departments respond to and prevent death when someone has overdosed. SSPs also protect first responders and the public by providing safe needle disposal. This reduces the amount of discarded needles in the community.
