At Cal State LA, Project Rebound is focused on making the process of returning to school easier for formerly incarcerated students. Project Rebound acts as a liaison and advocate for these students by providing services that will help them succeed in their educational journey. Data from the 2018-2019 school year shows that Project Rebound students had higher retention rates compared to other Cal State LA students and a 0% recidivism rate compared to 50% statewide. If you are or know a formerly incarcerated student, we encourage you to reach out to Project Rebound, as it is a valuable resource to help you be successful in your education.
