Cal State LA has partnered with the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) to help students with any immigration legal services for free.

Meet with CARECEN legal team to see if you’re eligible to renew DACA.

If you're eligible, make an appointment with the Office of the Vice President for Student Life by emailing vpsl@calstatela.edu.

Make sure to bring the document provided by the CARECEN attorney when meeting with the Office of the Vice President for Student Life. You will receive a check during your appointment.

Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles provides free legal services to low-income individuals located in LA. Cases include immigration, family law, eviction defense, housing, and more.  

Dreamers Emergency Funding - are available to Cal State LA undocumented students who are enrolled and matriculated in a degree or credential program, and who experience unforeseen emergencies that hinder their ability to complete their academic program.

The Dream Resource Center (DRC) Scholarship - is a yearly scholarship for undocumented students attending Cal State LA to pursue their educational goals. Awards include $500 (AB540/AB2000/SB68 student)  and $1,000 (non-AB540/AB2000/SB68 students).

Immigrant Rising is a curated list of scholarships and fellowships that don’t require proof of US citizenship.
